José Leda Was Born in Malagueño, Córdoba. He began his studies in the Provincial Art School “Figueroa Alcorta” in Córdoba. Afterwards he made his upper studies in the Art School of the National University of Córdoba.
He has had more than 70 exhibitions in Argentina , America and Europa.
He is currently represented in Europa by the exclusive Gallery L¨Angolan of Milan . His works are represented in many collections of Argentina and Europe , and recently in the Latin American Museum of Los Angeles.
He is represented in United States by Bryant Gallery , New Orleans .
His canvases show us an imaginary world, where we find rotund society figures and gravity defying corpulent cherubs. Ledda gives a satirical eye over luxury and
Wealth. His figures are placed in a surrealist stage where composition and colour play exactly in their just place.
He lives and works in Madrid and Córdoba alternatively.
